Survival Kits - Get Your Fix of Italian Foods & Help Some Small Shops Survive During the Pandemic

 I've started putting together boxes of some of my favorite things, from some of my favorite shops.

The box for February is the Markets of Florence box, with some great items from Mercato Centrale and Pegna, plus Ivana and Remo's tiny bakery and Cioccolateria Vestri. 

If you fancy an Easter box instead, I've just posted one that is only available till late March, so act soon!

Here's the biscotti that I picked up for last week's boxes.

 

Until you can visit Florence in person, this box is a “survival kit” for your taste buds, and an economic survival kit for the historic shops of Florence you are helping to support. 

• Tuscan Pecorino Cheese from Mercato Centrale 
• Fennel Flower- from Massimo (inside Mercato Centrale)
• Sun-dried Pachino tomatoes - from Massimo
• Cantuccini (almond biscotti)- from Ivana's Bakery
• Porcini pasta sauce in a jar- from Pasta Fresca
• 2 packages of high quality pasta (1 long pasta, 1 short pasta) - from Pegna
• Pear or Fig mostarda - Pegna
• Chocolates - Vestri 
• Coffee- Manaresi 
• Instructions and suggestions for using items in the box.

If anyone has gluten or nut allergies, please let me know in your email. I will try to find alternatives. (be sure to specify level of allergy ie slightly intolerant or severe allergy)
